Jay Tyler, Series Creator

   Jay Tyler, CDT, FNBC has over 35 years experience as an orthodontic technician. A past president of the Tennessee Dental Laboratory Association, he also served three years on the NADLís WOK committee. Jay has lectured and conducted numerous seminars throughout the U.S. and has authored several articles for Trends and Techniques, Lab Management Today, and the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics.

      Jay is currently the only orthodontic technician to hold the FNBC credential.  This 28-DVD orthodontic lab video series was created over a period of two and a half years and took well over 4000 hours to produce, earning him the prestigious Fellowship credential from the National Board for Certification. His DVDs have been distributed worldwide to doctors, labs, technicians, libraries, schools and universities.
     Jay sold his orthodontic laboratory in 1994 and now owns a film and DVD production company in Nashville, TN. His film credits include an Emmy award-winning public service announcement, a gold and a bronze at the Houston International Film Festival, and the prestigious Telly award.
     Jayís writing and speaking abilities, college science and English background, experience in film and DVD production, plus his many years as an orthodontic technician for over 300 different doctors all come together in this dynamically presented 36 hour edited DVD series designed to teach anyone how to make orthodontic appliances.
